response: In elementary school the first pet death I had to experience was the death of my cat Basheu, he was nearly 16 so my family put him down while I was at school and when I came home I didn't believe they did it, I spent 3 days waiting for him to come back, convinced he was just out hunting.
Summary: We read through the first act of Fences as a class.
Reflection: I learned the positive, negative and neutral ways different terms can be used and the importance of connotation.
